Comments about PanOxyl -8 Acne Creamy Wash, 8% Benzoyl Peroxide:
Almost done with first tube, use it morning and night- still breaking out/ skin still the same. I think I have little to no blackheads so thats a plus. I have sensitive skin and it didn't dry me out which is also good because I thought it would. If I were you not sure to buy I'd least get it and try it out.
Comments about PanOxyl -8 Acne Creamy Wash, 8% Benzoyl Peroxide:
Use a very small amount of this product, because it lathers really well. Love how it is so creamy. My doctor recommended this product and it definitely works. Takes about a week for the results to be noticable and I use it only at night to avoid over drying which is common with these types of washes.
Comments about PanOxyl -8 Acne Creamy Wash, 8% Benzoyl Peroxide:
I have fair skin and sensitive skin, it is dry, and I don't have a lot of acne but just enough to lower my self esteem. I had been using salicylic acid to help what acne I had and it never seemed to work. I decided to try benzoyl peroxide and it works great. I first started with the 5% panoxyl and it wasn't quite enough but the 10% was a little too much. The 8% is perfect, it doesn't try out my skin and it keeps away my acne. I use it once a day in the morning in the shower. I hope that PanOxyl never get's rid of this face wash. It has been my savior. I would recommend it to anyone.
Comments about PanOxyl -8 Acne Creamy Wash, 8% Benzoyl Peroxide:
This product was recommended to me by a dermatologist for use alongside a topical treatment (Ziana) and an antibiotic (Solodyn). I use the face wash once a day in the morning. I wash my face with Cetaphil at night. This is a great product and has prevented me from breaking out even in the dreaded first few weeks of starting a new topical acne treatment. It is creamy and pleasant to apply. However, this will definitely dry out your skin. If your skin is not accustomed to Benzoyl Peroxide, start out with Panoxyl 4 instead. Make sure you moisturize with a GOOD moisturizer (I'd recommend Cetaphil or Curel). If you are still getting dry spots, put a tiny dab of 100% petroleum jelly on the dry area at night and wash it off the next morning (don't worry, it's non-comodegenic!)
Apply acne wash and gently massage area for 1-2 minutes.
Rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with 1 application daily, then gradually increase to 2 or 3 times daily if needed or as directed by doctor.
If going outside, use a sunscreen. If irritation or sensitivity develops, discontinue use of both products and consult a doctor.
