I think this is a great product for those with acne prone skin. I'd recommend it for oily skin because it can be a little harsh. I use a pea sized amount and lather it in my hands before applying to my face. I only use it once a day & if I use too much product I notice my skin can dry out & flake. I just moisturize & skip a day if I have drying. I do notice an improvement in my skin as it helps prevent breakouts & lighten my scars.

I started off using this product twice a day - once in the morning and once in the evening, but this was a little much for my skin to handle. My face was starting to get really dry and tight, so I backed off on the multiple applications and just started using once a day or just in my acne-prone areas. This product is stronger than Proactiv - and cheaper and more readily available...win, win, win!

My skin was a wreck, so I gave this a try..well I am so happy, my skin is clear and looks great. The bumps are gone and when one creeps up every now and then, I stick to this cleanser and it is gone almost overnight.

This is medication. Make sure you read the directions carefully! The top negative reviewer failed to read the directions. I have sensitive skin and am careful with this product. When I see my skin becoming inflamed I stop using it for a while. You still need to moisturize after using this to prevent cracking. You need to build up gradually. Don't just slap on a ton twice a day. Of course it would make your skin freak out.

I had this product recommended to me from my dermatologist. He said this was the best product that he found at drugstores for my oily acne prone face. Most of the other drugstore products contain salicylic acid which don't work for me at all. It works just as well as his expensive acne cream. Good thing he is a family friend or he wouldn't have told me!

This will bleach towels and fabric, the problem is you shouldn't be using color towels.

I love this wash! It is the only product that truly works for me. I have adult acne issues (they mostly stem from stress and hormones) and need a strong wash to dry out my little annoyances. This wash does dry out my skin but I use a good moistruizer each day after I use it and looking at my skin you would never think that it was dry. I only wish that they made this product in a bigger size. Would totally buy that.

I love this wash! However, it can dry out your skin so after using it you will need to moisturize your face. I have adult acne-prone skin so drying my face out, at least for me, is the only remedy. Also using Benzoyl Peroxide is the only thing that will work for me. I read that for some people using other chemicals like Salicylic acid won't work because their acne is genetic or biologically based (hormonally based). The wash is light and doesn't really smell like anything. My only wish is that it came in a bigger bottle or container.

I have had acne for the better part of the last decade. My skin is combination, oily in some areas and dry in some areas. I have gone through a barrage of different acne products over the years from topical creams to birth control to prescription drugs, you name it I've tried it. After using this product in combo with the biore my skin cleared up dramatically. I had a couple cystic pimples during use, but I think the product draws all dirt and oil to the surface which cause some break outs. Since those 2 pimples I get 2 or 3 superficial pimples here and there. And that's great being that I am used to having 6 or 7 active pimples on my skin that take forever to go away. Let's be realistic, for an over the counter product that used to be prescription it's one of the best out there. Biore facial scrub helps because it smooths out my complexion with the microbeads and it leaves my skin tingly and fresh feeling. I use both in conjunction with eachother. Yes, it tends to dry my skin out and in the winter I look like I'm moulting (lol) But I use an oil free moisturizer and my skin has gotten used to the product. I can safely say it works because I've been using it for over 2 months. Usually I use a product for a couple weeks and it stops working for me. It could also be my hormones, perhaps now that I'm older they're leveling out? Not sure but I know the product plays a key role in the improvement to my skin. Unfortunately, due to my long battle with acne I have scarring and pock marks. I do plan on getting laser treatment when I can afford it. But, at least I feel better about my skin, it's a work in progress but I am grateful I found panoxyl. :) to all you acne sufferers out there I am with you in the struggle. It may not be cancer, but acne can really lower self esteem and turn a normally social person, anti-social.

I'm 50 plus, still have oily skin. My dermatologist recommended this. I use it with the Clarasonic and its really making a difference. It will bleach ANYTHING it touches so use white towels, etc. I can use it once a day and then use a retinol no problem. Twice a day and I get a little irritated.
