Great everyday conditioner! Contrary to the myths that salon's will tell you, Pantene is not just a waxy conditioner. It locks in moisture and leaves a great shine on your hair without buildup. My secret is to give your hair a cool water rinse after to seal the cuticle and to not wash all the shine off. I have been using this for almost 20 years and still get compliments on my shiny, beautiful hair!

I purchased for my young daughter since she needed a change from the 2in1 Baby Shampoo. She uses after Classic Shampoo. This conditioner detangles her longer hair, smooths most frizz and smells nice. Not so perfect for my chemically treated hair but I have used with fair success in a pinch.

Don't believe the hype: This stuff is like crack for your hair. It works by coating the cuticle in a slippery wax like substance that makes hair feel nice for a few hours- until it evaporates, leaving your hair brittle. The only "solution" is to apply it again. In the long run you'll get residue and damage. It doesn't matter how much you rinse- indeed if you rinse TOO much, the slipping agents won't adhere and you won't even get the quick fix this can provide! After a while you'll need a clarifying shampoo, one with highly concentrated detergents. They strip the hair almost as bad as chlorine. Stay away from Pantene, it's not worth the long term damage.

I have incredibly thick hair, and this is the only conditioner I have ever found that can get in there and do its job, and then be rinsed out without leaving residue. I've been using it for years, and I don't think I'll ever switch!

Moisturizes without weighing down my hair. Makes your hair soft and shiny as well as manageable. I have baby hairs around my forehead and this helps tame them so theyre not frizzy or flyaways. And it smells good too. I highly recommend it.

I give this a one because it was drying and damaging to my thin hair. Not only was it weaker and limper but it was quite dull (perhaps from the residue), but overall this product wasn't worth it.

Pantene Pro-V classic care conditioner works very well for my hair. Especially when you use it with the matching shampoo. It conditions your hair without making it feel heavy or look greasy. Because of where I live, in the winter months my hair gets a lot of static cling, and this conditioner helps keep the static down. It smells really nice too! So yes, I give this stuff 5 stars.
