I have long straight color-treated hair. Pantene has a plethora of hair conditioners, so I decided to try a few of them. I bought the Color Preserve line: Volume, Shine and Smooth. Frankly I thought they would all be mostly the same, but I like my straight hair and 'Smooth' did make it smooth. There actually was a difference. I apply it sparingly at my ends and work it up to the crown with my fingers, so my hair doesn't become greasy. Pantene has sooo many hair conditioner variations that it is hard to find Color Preserve Smooth on the shelf so I buy it online.

I wrecked my hair, and while it's uber-sexy, it's also dryer than grandma's turkey (god rest her soul). Help was needed, and I didn't have tons of money to spend, so I Pantened it. I dissected every budget conditioner, and went with this one. Honestly, my hair felt really soft while it was on my head. Conditioner goes on, body gets washed, rinse, and voila! My hair is like a moist turkey!

This conditioner compares with high end brands but at a fraction of the cost. I color my fine hair and it sometimes looks frizzy and damaged but this conditioner makes my smooth and shiny again. I have oily hair so it can get greasy with overuse. But otherwise, can't be without it.
