After Pantene screwed up their hair care line a few years ago when they changed labels, and formulas, I looked for over 2 years to find the right formula again, as the one I was using, Classic Clean, was no longer the same. I gave up on Pantene for over a year and was totally fed up with the company and their worthless products! But I was told to try a shampoo made for color treated hair and tried this Pantene product, not expecting much at all! But, after a couple uses, my hair was once again starting to look healthy, shiny and full of volume! After a month of shampooing daily, my hair was normal again, better then it had been in a long time. I also use the Pantene color preserve volume conditioner! Be careful after using conditioner though, the shower gets a bit slippery! Other then that, this is a great product, FINALLY! Maybe now they will quit messing with the formulas! If you are having problems after trying this, have your water checked; you may need a filter added to your home's water line and/or a water softener. You'd be amazed at what BAD Water can do to your hair!

I tried this shampoo since I have fine, color treated hair and Pantene discontinued their former volume formula a couple years ago, which had always worked well for me. Unfortunately, this new formula is beyond terrible!!

It made my hair look frizzy, flat, dull, and dried out. This volume shampoo actually made my hair flatter, thinner, and increased fly-aways. After 3 months of using this, my hair looks and feels so damaged with tons of split ends, breakage and scalp build up.

With this shampoo, it takes my hair much longer to dry for some reason and when it finally does it looks damaged, lifeless, dull, and tangled. I can't imagine this product working for anyone in the long run.

My Hair stylist even noticed the damage/change to my hair, and when I mentioned the Pantene, she said she had many clients who were using the new Pantene formulas with similar negative results. She insisted I avoid it and I recommend everyone else do the same unless they bring back their old tried and true volume formula.
