This is the perfect final step to assure my curls are glossy and frizz free.

Hair type: I have long thick dark curly (hispanic) hair. It does blow perfectly smooth tho if I want to invest over an hour.

The best suggestion I can give those of you who have not rated it well is that after you condition, while your hair is wet, not to rub hair with a towel just squeeze really well, comb the hair-gel in (using a wide tooth comb or an air-brush/vent-brush), then use the smooth side (not the side with the big loops) of the towel two wring your hair, (do not joustle) then scrunch, liberally spray with the non-aerosol hairspray on the entire outer surface and dont touch till its at least 90% dry, approx an hour. If you must shake your head to get a natural fall pattern, then do so right after you spray.

A quote from DevaCurl promo video online to encourage patience at this point is to remember, "wherever they lay, then there they shall stay" that is until dry. Afterwards you can scrunch to fluff if you like.

I love this product. I have medium curly fine hair, this spray keeps my curls looking fresh all day, without being sticky or weighing them down. I will keep buying this as long as Pantene makes it. Nothing like it on the market.

While this does not have the strong hold that I like, it does enhance my curls and make them frizz free. Not all curlies are the same, so this won't work for everyone. This is hard to find, so I am glad I have found it here :)

I used to love the old version of this. Now, all it does is make my hair frizzy and it does nothing to enhance the waves or partial curliness in my hair. I'm very dissapointed. Bring back the old Pantene please.
