I have wavy hair down to the middle of my back that is very fine, easily tangled and tends to get very dry on the ends. Its always a struggle for me to find a good shampoo and conditioner and honestly, I got great results with this stuff. Unfortunately, I have very acne prone skin that i have to pay close attention to and this conditioner made me break out all over my back, neck, shoulders & even around my hairline. I even make sure I rinse out all my conditioner, pin my hair up & then soap and scrub the rest of me. If it weren't for the breakouts, I would definitely keep using this!

I'm surprised at the bad reviews on this product. I suspect these were people who did not have the correct hair type for this product. A girlfriend with fine hair told me about this. I have BABY fine hair. One shampoo and conditioning with this line and it was a miracle. I have twice the volume and body and it keeps my long hair from tangling. Usually I would "fix" my hair 8-10 times a day fluffing it back up to give it a bit of volume. With this fix it once in the morning and my long baby fine hair stays fluffy smooth and styled for an entire day. In 47 years no other product has been this effective on my hair.

I use this as I would any conditioner, and have used it following shampoo with Pantene's "matching" shampoo. This conditioner can no way repair the damage done by the shampoo. Nasty products, despite my loyalty to Pantene.

I used this after using the new formulation of the volumizing shampoo. Combined, the products did give me early volume, but also gave me dry-ish hair, that had a bit more frizz than volume by the end of the day. Also - surely when they are in the labs, they could do something about the Pantene scent. I checked 'smells bad' above - but it doesnt' truly 'smell bad' - it just has a very distinct Pantene scent. I will say that my hair did have more volume to begin with, so I cannot argue with the effectiveness, but I didn't care for the dryness or frizz. [...]

The volume doesn't hold. I guess you need to use the entire product line. I just used the shampoo and conditioner. My hair had a little volume, but it was gone by the time I arrived at work.

I used both the Pantene Pro-V Flat to Volume Shampoo and Conditioner. I used another brand of Volumizing Mousse as usual for drying and styling. The products did provide some volume although not as much as higher priced similar items.

I was very disappointed and returned it after 2 uses. First time something goes wrong, shame on the company- second time, shame on me! My hair felt awful after using this. note that the conditioner I had been using prior worked WONDERFULLY (but is too expensive), so I do know that it's NOT my hair which is the problem, nor my rinsing techniques. I am a thorough rinser, and I even finish with a blast of cool water to make the cuticle lay flat. But none of that meticulous ritual could save this conditioner from being a failure. It actually harmed my hair. Pantene works by coating the strands in a silky feeling waxy-like substance which later evaporates, leaving you to need and want a second "fix"- literally. This, however, is a new collection from them, and I hoped the formula would be better. It didnt even leave it feeling nice for a few hours like the other pantene products do!
