I have very thick, coarse hair, and often have trouble finding a hairspray that gives hold while not having to over apply. I thought this spray did a great job. Just a short spray and it held my style all day. I was also able to easily brush through at day's end w/o it leaving any flaky residue, and my hair was still soft and never sticky.

Like the other reviewer, I too used the Texture hairspray for years. I have straight, almost stiff hair and it was amazing - it kept it away from my face all day long in any weather, even rain and wind, but wasn't sticky or too stiff. This product is useless. It is like using NO hairspray. I have written to Pantene several times asking if one of their current sprays is a similar formula as the Texture but have only received very unsatisfactory responses referring me to their website. There must be someone out there who has found a product that works as well as the Texture. I have spent a lot of money trying products but haven't found anything that works as well. Very frustrating.
