I needed a brightening/whitening shampoo for my silver hair and this did the trick. It leaves my hair shiny and soft plus made the white highlights sparkle. I use this with the Silver Expressions conditioner.

I have tried 3 other brands of purple shampoo and this one beats them all. It smells good, it doesn't dry out my hair, it adds shine, it doesn't stain my fingers, and it does what it's supposed to do. Also, reasonably priced! I can't say all these things about the other kinds I've tried. I hope this exists for the rest of my life.

I'm so happy this shampoo is back! It really does work the BEST! Wish it was unscented or fragrance free however. I use it 2-3 times and then use a "regular" shampoo or my hair gets too "purple".

When Pantene discontinued Silver Expressions, I was devastated and even wrote a letter of "protesting-begging" to them. During the demise of Expressions, I bought 2 other brands supposedly for white hair. It wasn't the same -- not even close. Anyone with white/silver hair knows of the importance of shine with no yellow, and the bounce and body of really great healthy hair, and well, Pantene does that hands down. When I received a letter from Pantene saying the product was back, I was SO anxious and found it here, on Drugstore.com, and immediately ordered 4 bottles of shampoo "just in case". Let me tell you the speed of Drugstore. I ordered it Wednesday and it was here on Friday! Wow!! So now, once again, I will be having people actually stop me on the street and asking about my hair, but this time I'll not just say that it's Pantene Silver Expressions...I'll also say that if you, too, want to be a shining star in less than a blink, order this product from Drugstore.com.
