I'll be honest: I'm a hairy half-Mexican. I'm that chick that kind of has a little bit of a 'stache rockin'. I also have something that one ex-boyfriend affectionately referred to as "fuzzy monkey butt". You know, that patch of fuzz above your a-word that no one wants to see chillin' above your bikini bottoms. I have hairy arms. So, no, I'm not exactly Frida Kahlo, but I do have hair in places where I do not feel I need it. I should be spiritually advanced enough to love myself exactly the way I am, but I read the Four Agreements, and I still prefer to remove the excess rug from my mug.
This is definitely my weapon of choice. I won't go into all the details of waxing because most people reading the reviews already know what a wax job feels like. It sucks. But these are probably the easiest, no-heat cold wax strips I've used. The oil that comes with them is also pleasant and soothing. My skin gets super irritated very easily and I usually wind up looking like a baboon in heat after my back wax, but with this kit, it doesn't last very long. I also have noticed I don't get as many ingrowns.
I like the fragrance. It sort of smells like pine tar. I know that sounds weird, but it made me wonder if perhaps the makers of Parissa spread a bunch of pitch on some strips and stuck them in boxes. Either way, good stuff. Grabs a lot of the hair so going back and touching up isn't too big of a chore.
I still don't use it on my face, because I don't want to look like Ronald McDonald after ripping the hairs out above my upper lip. But if you do use anything for yours, I suggest Parissa.
I have used Nad's and wanted to like it. If I can't find Parissa, I will use the Nad's strips. But from experience, I think Parissa just all-around works better.
You really should warm them up for a minute in your hands before peeling them apart, though. Just an FYI.
After waxing pretty steadily for a year or two, I have noticed the hair coming back in finer. So if you're a beast like me, I suggest Parissa.

Bought this kit and the Moom Tea Tree kit to try on my legs and compare. I liked the Moom kit much more. In fairness, the Parissa kit is really easy to use; however, my main complaint is that one kit wasn't even enough to do one leg from the knee down. I have fine hair that I'd let grow out quite a but, but even so I'd have expected it to do more. This kit would be convenient for travel touch-ups and maybe is better for smaller areas, but I wouldn't recommend for full leg waxing.

I've used these for years on my legs. I use a hair dryer to heat them instead of rubbing them together, and that works well. Gets most hair with minimal pain.

The results with this wax are amazing! It is ridiculously simple to use, grabs all hair with very minimal touch-up plucking for strays, and the wax cleans off easily with any type of oil (preferably baby oil on a warm, damp wash cloth). There was very little redness or bumpiness immediately after use, the wax is very gentle to the skin. This product has eliminated the routine need for pricier spa visits, I am officially a devoted fan of this product!

These are my favorite strips to use to remove facial hair and body hair. In the past, I have used Nad's strips, but if you don't use them right away, they tend to dry up and not work very well. The Parissa brand is fine sitting in the box until I need to use it. I also don't have to warm them up.
They include an oil to help you remove some of the wax. I have also successfully used mineral oil.

UNLIKE ANOTHER WAX STRIP I HAVE USED, (SURGIWAX), PARISSA CAN STICK TO SKIN (IF YOU ARE NOT COMPLETE WITH REMOVAL TECHNIQUE) AND THE WAX ITSELF IS VERY STICKY. IF IT GETS ON TO YOUR HAND FINGERS, OR NAILS, IT STICKS AND IS DIFFICULT TO REMOVE. IT IS EASY ENOUGH TO USE, PAINLESS, BUT THE WAX IS A HORROR! I WOULD LOVE MY MONEY BACK

So, I am probably the only guy to review these. I wanted to wax my chest before getting a tattoo and I figured these would be cheap and an easy way to do it. Well it was cheap, I only used half the box, and it sure did rip the hair out by its roots. It has been about 24 hrs later and the skin is still a little irritated, but it is going down pretty fast.
My wife had a blast helping me with this because of the pain it induced. Each strip getting yanked off had me cursing. This hurt like hell, but it got the job done.
I noticed today that there is still some very small hairs that it missed, but I can handle that. I just wanted to warn any guys that want to try this out that it hurt like hell and I think my threshold for pain is pretty high. Do it though. its worth it.

This will save you a lot of time & money by waxing at home. This product is so easy to use with no heating or mess. The only complaint I have, it didn't get ALL the hairs, I had to do a little "clean up" after waxing.

I have been using Sally Hansen strips for years and they stopped selling the bigger body wax strips. I decided to try these and am really happy I did. I like them much more than the Sally Hansen strips.
I used them for my arms. The package comes with 16 strips but it means 8 pieces which separate to form two strips. One side was enough to do the entire forearm. The surface area is bigger than the Sally Hansen and I was able to keep moving it and it still had lots of stick left. I normally would have gone through several Sally strips to do the same job. These just seem higher quality, thicker and wider than its competitor.
My only con was it stuck to my skin more, so the lint of my sweater stuck to my arms. I just cleaned it off with oil (which is included) and the residue was gone.
Do not wash skin. Gently rub a double strip between your hands to warm. Slowly separate strips into 2 strips. Smooth down sticky side of Wax Strips onto skin in direction of hair growth, pressing firmly. Hold skin taut below strip with one hand. Use other to grasp lower end of strip & zip-off quickly in opposite direction of hair growth, keeping strip/hand close & parallel to the skin. Soothe and clean your skin after waxing by applying Azulene Oil included in your kit. Here's a few Parissa Professional tips: Always pull strip back along itself in one quick movement. Don't peel or pull off slowly. The faster the strip is removed the better the results.
