This product is great once you get used to using it. It takes a couple of tries. I use this exclusively for my underarms because wax strips are just too difficult to use in the crevices. I have become a waxing diva, I threw all of my razors away and I exclusively wax. I have my Brazilian done elsewhere, but have used their techniques to wax my underarms and have been hugely successful!! I have ventured in doing some of my women family members underarms as well and THEY HAVE LOVED IT!!! Just remember to blow on wax a little before spreading it on, it does tend to get hot enough to burn you if you spread right away.

I bought this after Zip changed their product (making it less effective). Parissa is a great replacement. It gets rid of the hard to remove hair on my face.

I have short, coarse hair on my face that is embarassing and seems to be able to survive all attempts to remove it. I have tried so many creams and waxes, but thought I was stuck trying to get them all with an epilator and tweezers (which takes forever). I bought this on a whim and then let it sit for weeks, not bothering to try it because I assumed it would not work. I finally tried it last night and it worked--amazingly! It got the short, coarse hairs and the finer baby-fuzz type hairs all in one go. If you have hair that could apparantly survive a nuclear blast, do dry this out and I hope it works as well for you as it does for me!

My usual product was out of stock and honestly I was getting tired of the terrible quality. After searching I found this wax, and had stayed away from it in the past because I thought it was too expensive. Desperate for a similar item to the last product I used, I ordered this one. I was shocked when I opened the package - it's a large amount of wax, two long stir spatula sticks and a shorter one for spreading. They also provide a small bottle of azulene oil - although the oil is really effective the bottle is a pain to open and close.

Overall I'm really happy with the product and kicking myself for torturing my face for so long with the other product that dried out my skin. This wax seems kinder than other waxes and used with the oil gives great results.

I highly recommend getting the wax warmer - it makes everything so much easier, plug it in and read a book while it warms up for 30 minutes. No more carrying it through to your room from the kitchen. My grooming routine just got easier! :)

This wax is amazing! I used it for the first time today after years of using other products and it gets all the hair with very very little pain!

I have been searching for the perfect wax since Sally Hansen discontinued their microwavable hot wax and this is even better than that. I have used wax strips (Sally Hansen) and cold waxes (Nads). Neither have been as efficient as this with getting all the hair AND with SO little pain.

I ordered the Parissa warmer today since this is a keeper. I do wish they had a smaller spatula for eyebrows.

The only con was that it would break off if it wasn't thick enough. I think the problem will be solved by using the Parissa warmer since I warmed it by candle.

I also couldn't open the Azulene bottle but I was in a hurry.

it works well, just be careful when heating that you don't let it spill over on your stove. i recommend heating it in another pan w/ water.

This is very easy to use. I wax my bikini line regularly and have used a variety of products but currently this is my favourite. It heats easily, has a great smell, is very soothing and causes very little pain. Afterward the azulene oil really helps to prevent ingrowns and irritation. The cons are that it doesn't remove all hairs and the wax must be applied in a very thick layer to ensure it doesn't break. Despite this, I will definately buy again and would recommend.

I am Italian - I have lots of unwanted facial hair - upper lip, eyebrows, and chin. I have been waxing since I was 10 years old (25+ years now). This is the best product I have ever found. THANK YOU!!!

Be sure to remove before hardened all the way, as directed - this is the least painful waxing experience I have ever had! I am very pleased, and will definitely purchase this again.

Unfortunately the Sally Hansen Wax has been discontinued, so I use this. The second time I used it, I figured out to only warm this on low heat for a minute (at most) so that the base would melt; after stirring (or just seeing which parts of the wax cake were melted to honey consistency), I could use this without burning myself.

This is a lot better than other stripless alternatives, but as noted, it heats VERY quickly, and you shouldn't need to melt all the wax to use this. (Do not walk away from this pot--I usually set it on medium-high flame and it takes no more than 2 minutes.)

This did a decent-enough job getting the tougher hairs on upper lip, cheeks, etc, but it takes going over the same spot more than once occasionally, or drawing the skin taut when applying/pulling off the wax.

The azulene oil (or anything to dissolve the wax off of skin) is smelly and greasy, but it helps get off all the wax residue. (There might be less acne-inducing alternatives, though. I wash off the azulene oil after usage and I'm still struggling with breakouts, but I have very acne-prone skin).

This wax is the BEST for my husbands brows! We have tried all kinds of brands at the store, they all have about one decent usage where they take forever to heat up and then dont get much hair then the wax gets hard and cracks. This Parissa wax is awesome! it comes in a metel little pan which is cute and super easy to heat on the stove, it heats well and evenly. Best of all it works great, only one application and it comes off soooo easy! LOVE this stuff!
