This candle burns MUCH slower than the Maison Deluxe brand, weighing in at 9 ozs where the latter tips in at 7 ozs. The only downside I can think of is they only offer 1 fragrance in this size ...but its a REALLY NICE one. The price is excellent and competitive, for now. Stock up if ur able.

The scent is really pleasant, even when burnt for long hours, the smell do not get overpowering. Candle lasts for good burning time.

i use candles mainly to provide light when i'm in the tub since we only have one glaring overhead light in our bathroom, i'm super-sensitive to light, and my baths are supposed to be relaxing. this candle provides a nice amount of light and seems safe; i keep it right next to the sink -- no drapes or towels nearby. i'm generally not a big fan of candles, fearing an earthquake, cat, my clumsiness or something else knocking them over! but i've learned to appreciate candlelight. scent is an added bonus but not necessary. the scent on this one seems pretty perfumey to me, sort of like generic floral, basic bath-soap smell, and nothing like lavender, and nowhere near anything like cedarwood. i guess i've gotten spoiled by my earthier, pricier, herbier candles. still, for the price it's a good deal and the lingering scent in the bathroom is sort of smoky and incense-y when the candle's blown out. i know some candles are meant to be burned for 3-4 hours at a time to last longer (1 hour per inch of diameter) but we'll see on this one. i'm only going to use it for as long as i'm bathing, like 1 hour at a time. if it doesn't last long, no great loss.

I am purchasing my second one because I was so satisfied with this candle. It has a wonderfully pleasant scent that fills up my small bathroom, and the candle burns very evenly. I also appreciate that it is a soy candle that has no lead.

I keep at least three of these candles in my home to combat cooking odor, bathroom odor, you name it. It is a very fragrant scent and not too sweet. This is the most effective brand I have found, especially compared to big brands that cost a lot more.

This candle smells wonderful when not burning. after lighting, virtually no smell at all. We have a bathroom that is only 4x6 feet. It will stay in there. Very disappointed!
