Comments about Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Daily Boost Root Lifter, 16.9 fl oz: I have stick straight long hair. It's not really thick, but I do have a lot of it. I've tried many different root lifters, none really worked. Tried this in a last ditch effort, mainly because PM products are good quality and cruelty free. WOW - tons of volume! Now I know how a root lifter is actually supposed to work. I've been teasing my hair just to get a little lift (not Snooky boufant, just a little lift). With this stuff I no longer have to. I apply wet, brush my hair forward, and then blow dry roots while agitating roots with my fingers (something my stylist taught me). Totally adds tons of volume - this product works perfectly and is totally worth the price.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Daily Boost Root Lifter, 16.9 fl oz: This is the only voluminizing product that I have found (and I tried alot) that actually works on my fine, straight hair. I spray it right at the root by lifting the underneath layers of hair then kind of massage it around with my fingers then blow dry (and it helps to blow dry my hair by bending over too). It I use this product I can shampoo every other day - otherwise, I have to shampoo every day not because my hair is dirty but because it is so flat. I love this product!

Comments about Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Daily Boost Root Lifter, 16.9 fl oz: This stuff works really good except it is rather sticky, however, i can deal with that cuz i have tried all kinds of root-lifting products and so far i think i like this one the best. Hey, i am a product of the 80's. I need some height on top!

Comments about Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Daily Boost Root Lifter, 16.9 fl oz: My idea of styling my short hair, is to dry my bangs so they don't do weird. So I was hesitant to try a root strengthening product, but my friend INSISTED (and when she pulled her's out, I said, okay.) Three zaps of this, and my hair is less flat--and I have wussy flat hair after about 10 min. Add on the Paul Mitchell styling spray (two to three zaps) and I look almost like a styled woman!

Comments about Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Daily Boost Root Lifter, 16.9 fl oz: I use this product everyday, it adds body to my short hair and makes it easier to style. It's light and easy to apply. There is no down side to this product for me.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Daily Boost Root Lifter, 16.9 fl oz: Maybe this product works when combined with others. Used by itself, it doesn't provide much volume.
Comments about Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Daily Boost Root Lifter, 16.9 fl oz: This product gives lift to my fine hair. It helps hair stay in place without a stiff or tacky feel. My hair falls completely flat in humidity and on humid days this product isn't quite enough for me, but it is reliable and it is the one product that I have gone back to over and over. It's also a good value--ounce for ounce costs less than many comparable salon volumizers. Comments about Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Daily Boost Root Lifter, 16.9 fl oz: Lighter and softer than hairspray. I have fine, curly, shoulder-length hair. I flip my head upside down and use for root lift and all-over scrunching. Best on damp, almost dry hair. Displaying reviews 1-8 ![]() |
