Don't know how it works though, and that's not even what it's noted for. Hope they never change its formula. I do not detect any residue, but gets heavy unless using a slight "cutting" shampoo two or three times a week. Paul Mitchell's Special Tea Tree Shampoo does the trick for that. FYI, I'm in my 60's.
