I use this on damp curly hair and let air-dry; it de-frizzes, and leaves my curls soft and touchable, not crisp and stiff, with a nice shine. One product does it all! I carry a travel-bottle in my purse to freshen up on dry hair (e.g., after showering at the gym, or if rainy-day humidity is starting to frizz). You don't want to wash curly hair daily; now I just rinse out the conditioner every morning, and add more fresh. I've thrown away the shelves of other products, and replaced it with only this one.

"The Conditioner" has recently been re-formulated, and it's an improvement in terms of the performance and effectiveness.... however, Paul Mitchell is STILL putting blue colored dye, which is completely unnecessary, and continues to put the same horrid perfume smell in it. Even at a low dose, many consumers find this a horribly offensive smell. It is not family friendly because boys and men do not want to smell like they are wearing an old lady's perfume, and mother's don't want to put unnecessary synthetic blue coloring junk on their children. They should have used a family-friendly, light and simple, pleasant and natural smelling fragrance.... like lemon/lime or a fresh fruity smell.... and just take the fake blue coloring out.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Original The Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

As far as leave-in conditioners go, this one is the best! I have moderately thick, but very dry, damaged, color-treated hair and this product actually worked at detangling it. It doesn't make hair look wonderful, but it is great if you don't have time to condition it properly.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Original The Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

Good conditioner for dry hair. I would probably not use this in the summer months; it might be too heavy, but for winter, it is a very good conditioner that can be used daily if necessary. It leaves hair soft but not limp.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Original The Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

This conditioner is the best for detangling and softening. Although, when used often and too much, it weighs my hair down a bit. Used sparingly, I get great results.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Original The Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

The conditioner worked very well to smooth out my children's hair. Much better than any of the spray-in detangling sprays for children. My daughters have fairly long, fine, straight hair that knots and tangles easily. No more complaints while combing out their hair in the morning, and it is shiny and beautiful.

I have naturally curly hair and it can be coarse. This leave-in conditioner is the only conditioner I have found that works with my hair. It is a godsend!

Comments about Paul Mitchell Original The Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

This product weighed my hair down severely and made it feel too heavy. I have thick hair to begin with, but I thought it would be a nice rich moisturizing cream, not so heavy.
It's excellent for after I rinse chlorine out of my hair, or for Oceanside vacations after washing salt out. It's good for repairing your hair after damage. But besides that, I think I wasted my money.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Original The Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

Jack of all trades, but master of none. This is a decent conditioner, but any of the high-end salon products are better than this one. L'anza and Joico have leave in conditioners that are worlds better AND cost the same price. This stuff leaves my hair greasy and weighed down, BUT it does work as a decent shaving gel and lotion. This is something to take traveling because you can use it for practically everything, but it is not the best at anything that it says it does.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Original The Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

I have been using this product for many years now and can say it is the best Shaving Cream there is. I also use it as a leave-in conditioner sometimes but primarily use it for Shaving. It beats out any usual shaving creams hands-down.

Comments about Paul Mitchell Original The Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

This product is the best on the market!!! I've tried everything!!! I kept changing shampoos and conditioners until this! My hair is thin and naturally curly, highlighted and washed every day. After finding this product, I can use any shampoo/conditioner as long as I use this. Could not be without it!!! Highly recommend!!! A+++++

Comments about Paul Mitchell Original The Conditioner, 16.9 fl oz:

This has got to be one of the best leave in conditioners out on the market today! I have been using it for a long time and it continues to make my hair soft. I have long, thick, coarse hair, which is also chemically processed so I rely on conditioners to keep my hair in tiptop shape. It is definitely worth the money and I encourage anyone with dry hair to give it a try.
