I have thick, long, color treated hair and combing it out after a wash is a tangled nest of hair, difficult to comb out. A dab of detangler along with a deep moisturizing conditioner makes it easy to get a comb through. Also, I find a lot less hair in my comb when the process is complete.

Paul Mitchell Original Conditioner is the only conditioner I've used in recent years (and I've tried quite a few) that doesn't irritate my scalp. I love that the delicate fragrance fades away after use, so my perfume doesn't have to compete with my hair. After my shower, when I brush my hair, I can whoosh right through my long, slightly wavy hair without hitting any knots. Hair is left soft and fluffy. I love this stuff.

This product didn't deliver on any of it's promises. I have long, fine silvery hair and it neither detangled nor conditioned. After two uses I'm throwing it out.

I like what this conditioner does, but not the smell. The smell is not strong and it doesn't last after conditioning. I have to say, it's not pleasing when conditioning. If you don't care about the unpleasing smell during conditioning, it's fine. The conditioner does add soft, smooth and shine to my hair, I would say it's an effective conditioner. I think it's a conditioner for people use it everyday or every two days, because the effect doesn't last for over two days. I usually wash my hair every two or three days, on the third day, my hair becomes dry and not smooth like it was.
