I have been using this product for a few years now. I am african american have a texturizer in my hair. Most of the gels I've used leaves my hair texture hard, bu this product leaves it soft and manageable. I have no complaints about the product itself (it's a great product). What I would like to complain about it when I received the package, the product was extremely dirty and was not taped on top so I wasn't sure if it had been used or not. I did not return it because I was totally out and needed it at that time. I was very dissappointed in how it was sent. The bottle is white and it appeared to have been tossed around because it had dirt all over it. I give the product a "5", but how it was shipped to me gets a "0".

I just used this product to style my hair after shampooing. Despite using a very small amount, my hair looks like it needs shampooing again! It looks and feels greasy on my hair. I use other Paul Mitchell products with good success, however, this one should be labeled...not for oily hair!!

My husband and I have used this product for many years. He uses it year round, I use it mostly just in the drier months (non-summer). It promotes easier styling while providing volume and control without heaviness. And it makes your hair shine!

This product is great for defining your hairstyle, haircut, or natural waves. I use hot rollers in my hair, and use this to calm down erratic curls and take the bushiness and dryness out of the waves. It defines the waves and gives the hair a more modern look. Also used it on my mother's short spiky hair to add definition and prevent it from looking "helmet-like". It is not stiff or crunchy at all, and adds shine and lustre. Have not found anything else like it and have been using it for years. Works on all styles, but you only need a tiny bit. Don't use too much especially if your hair is oily. Very concentrated.

I Love Slick Works! It smells awesome and it gives your hair a defined look. I use it after I blow dry, straighten and style my hair. It is like a finish to my style and then I give it a spray of my favorite hairspray. Have to be carful though...if you use too much it will make your hair greasy! Just a little bit goes a long way. I get compliments all the time of the great shine and how good it smells!!!
