I've been using both the Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner for years now. I search it out. Before I even knew I had mild psoriasis on my scalp, I just used it because it left my scalp feeling so tingly and fresh and clean and alive. It was a cool feeling that last beyond the shower. Plus it left my hair clean and conditioned and in beautiful shape. I would highly recommend it to anyone!

If you have very straight, thin or fine hair this is not for you. It feels great (cool), the scent is pleasant - not fruity or perfumy. I would use it if I wanted to tame "frizzies" or had curly, thick hair as it cleans well. The problem is: it is not "cone-free" which means silicone (in some form) is listed, and it coats the hair shaft diminishing the hair's ability to curl or separate. I gave it three stars because I felt it would be an excellent shampoo for some hair types - just not all.

Comments about Paul Mitchell TeaTree Special Shampoo, 10.14 fl oz:

I use it daily and it greatly improved my dry scalp condition aside from doing a great job on my thinning hair. It did a much better job than the much more expensive Bumble & Bumble shampoo I had been using.

Comments about Paul Mitchell TeaTree Special Shampoo, 10.14 fl oz:

I have tried many products to help with my scalp psoriasis. I read the reveiws and thought, what the heck, I'll give it a whirl. I was excited to try it. A little disappointed because it doesn't lather very well. I found a trick though... just put it on your scalp around the edges and tip your head back in the water real quick to get bubbles. Works great! The smell is a little harsh, but not bad, just strong. I like what it does with my hair - cleans from the root. While I haven't seen an improvement with my psoriasis, I haven't seen it worsen either. I will order this again!

Comments about Paul Mitchell TeaTree Special Shampoo, 10.14 fl oz:

When Aveda cancelled their Detoxifier, I was stuck without a build up remover.

Due to my hairs behavior in a usually hot and humid environment, I am required to use a lot of hair products to keep my hair smooth and frizz-free.

This tea tree shampoo effectively removes the buildup and leaves my hair soft before I even add the conditioner. It also tingles, leaving your scalp refreshed and clean.

It can make one's hair colorant fade, and it might be too harsh for some users.

I got this for me to assist with my scalp issues (sometimes oily, sometimes dry, flaky) and although I really liked how it cleaned my hair (fine with a lot of body), it made my scalp worse. My girlfriend used and and loved it for the manageability, cleaning power, and bounce it gave her naturally curly/wavy short hair.

My hair is thin and permed. This shampoo did nothing to thrill me. It does smell good but I thought it was harsh on my hair.
                  Would not buy again.
