Comments about PAW Large Capacity Automatic Pet Feeder Programmable, 1 ea:
I've had another feeder that we've had for years. It's beginning to show it's age so I looked for another. This one looked to be larger and with a better style. Programming is much more complex than it needs to be, but was easy enough. All looked great, watched it feed the first time and thought it was set. But the next morning the feeder started to dispense and then jammed. I cleared the jam and ran it through a manual run, twice and it worked fine. Lunch was then served without a problem. But come dinner time the feeder started up on time, my Lab ran over to the bowl and just gave me a look like "hey dude, somethings wrong here". Sure enough the feeder was once again jammed, having dispensed only 1/4 cup (one turn of the feeder dispenser). I cleared the jam again, fed my Lab and then put the feeder on the table so we could keep an eye on it in the morning. Sure enough, a few kibbles was dispensed at 6AM and then the unit was jammed once again. I don't know if it's this particular unit or the model in general, but back it goes.
Due to the constant jamming of the unit I have to give this 1 star as my Lab's belly remains empty come feeding time, making neither of us happy.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
