I'm very impressed with this product. Enough acid in it to be effective for over-the-counter sale. I use it morning and night and I use a suncreen. I'm a 40 year old African American female with pretty good skin. But I'm a picker!

I'm on my second bottle of this stuff. I love it, it has cleared up brown spots on my checks due to hormone changes and is clearing up old acne scars. I have sensitive skin and this stuff does not bother me at all. I use it religiously morning and night after washing my face and have noticed a major difference in the appearance of my skin - no more brown spots & acne scars are barely visible.

The short of it: blackhead extraction-induced hyperpigmentation -- two spots that looked like moles on my left cheek. Embarrassing and concealer, even the good stuff, didn't hide it well. Tried EVERYTHING else -- scar creams, glycolic acid treatments, microdermabrasion, goodness the trials my poor face went through to get rid of these HP spots. Still, the persistently returned and settled in despite hundreds of dollars of treatments. Seventh months after their initial formation, I decided to try the PCA PhaZe-13 gel. Deeply skeptical and considering laser removal by now, I dabbed a bit onto just the spots and surrounding area. NO JOKE - day 1: peeling of JUST the HP spots!! Exactly what I wanted!! Day 2: one spot completely peeled off!! Just some redness!! I'm waiting now on the other spot to gradually peel since it's a little deeper, but I am SO happy. Note: I'm fair-olive complected and I combined this product with a little Bio-oil + Eucerin sensitive skin SPF face moisturizer on top because my skin is dry. Worked like a charm! Highly recommend!

I have, without fail, used this product -at least- twice a day. It seems like it makes sun spots get darker first. So I am waiting for actual 'expected results'
I had this product years ago in the plastic bottle that you could squeeze on. I liked that bottle better. But the product really did work then. It seemed like it dried up the spot and it sort of 'peeled' off and kept doing that until it was gone. You needed to keep using product though or it would come back.
So hoping this product will now do the same.

I used the product as instructed in the direction- a thin layer. But it did not work for me. It irritated my skin every time I applied it. After applying it for a few days, my skin started to peel. It did not lighten the dark area. I would not recommend this product.

use the product in mornings after washing and getting my face cleansed. I have been using it for two weeks now and its really clearing my skin. I have a dark coloring on my left cheek. My face seems healthier and it has this glow about it, from what my friends tell me. I have no bad side effects of using the product, Its just done more good to my facial appearance.

I did a lot of research on a product that would remove the hyperpigmentation that I have on my forehead, nose, above my top lip and the acne scarring. I have a very fair complexion for an African American woman and it has not changed my surrounding skin tone at all. THIS WORKS! I saw results in just five days and I know with my committed use it will only get better.

I use this product in the evenings 3-4 times a week. I have brown skin with dark areas on my chin and cheeks that I had accepted as being permanent. Not only did this product lighten the blemishes that I was bothered by but these dark areas as well. If you can tolerate HQ I would strongly recommend this one. There is also a non HQ version available that I have not tried.
