Counteracted antibiotic cleacin perscribed by dentist before my root canal. Cleacin felt like a rock in my esophagas. Pharmacist suggested Pepcid AC. I've never had to take an antacid before and I'm almost 65. I will keep this on hand from now on. It was very effective to get me back feeling like normal. Stay away from the Cleacin (sp).

Have used this product in the past, only when needed, once in a while. It works great, with no side effects, which is importmant. Only take as directed, or a side effect will be felt. I have recommended this to friends and family

My doctor ordered me to take this in addition to a steroid I take for my MS. I was getting terrible heartburn from the steroid so I now take Pepcid AC along with my meds. I no longer suffer from the heartburn and there are no side effects.

My doc put me on Prilosec, but I found that Pepcid helped me much more. Plus, I found that I had more side effects from Prilosec than with Pepcid...such as gasiness. I have been taking Pepcid 2x's per day for at least 10 years and have no regrets.
I would definately recommend Pepcid!

Add me to the list of people using this product for a pet -- in my case, a cat. My cat has had acute pancreatitis and has taken half a pepcid for quite a few years now. It really has calmed his stomach down and helped him. I also used it for my elderly dog who is no longer with us. He had also had pancreatic and digestive issues when elderly, and it helped him a lot. This form of Pepcid is getting more difficult to find in my stores because they are stocking the chewables version, the Complete, or the 20 mg. extra strength (which would be more difficult to quarter for veterinary dosing). Love this 10 mg. strength in this larger quantity, too, since the human family members sometimes take one for indigestion.

We also buy Pepcid AC for our dog on the advice of our vetrinarian. He had been throwing up bile about once a week. We now give him half a tablet each morning and half a tablet each night. It has done wonders for calming his stomach, and he now eagerly awaits taking his medicine. If your dog throws up bile, you might want to ask your vet about giving it Pepcid AC. (We were told not to give Pepcid Complete to a dog).

Believe it or not, I don't buy Pepcid AC for myself, I buy it for my dog. Butchie is an old fellow and he has a bad heart and arthritis. The pills he takes makes his stomach upset causing him to throw up bile all day long. The vet suggested Pepcid AC and since I started giving them to him he's been a different dog. No more belly aches and no more bile. This product has my 5 stars and another 5 from Butchie. No more boo-boo belly for him. The product worked well to control acid indigestion. It was fairly easy to take. I find the chewable products seem to be easier to take -- especially if you're traveling or out somewhere and don't have water handy. I'd recommend it to family and friends!

I gave this product to my mother, who suffers from heartburn almost daily. She says that Pepcid AC is her favorite product on the market. It gives her quick relief and she can take it anytime, before her heartburn sets in or after it's already started. Knowing that it's helped her, I'd definitely recommend it.
