If you take it before meals, it will prevent heartburn. I found the mint flavor to be more effective but for some reason, they no longer make it in that flavor. Please bring the mint flavor back. My family prefers the berry and tropical friut but we would use the mint if we had to. It works quickly, tastes good and doesn't have the chalkiness like others I have used. The things that are great about it are it's taste and it's effectiveness. The one thing I don't like about it, is the price. Why does it cost almost $4.00 more than it does at a store? Pros
