This is the 4th or 5th drug I tried and it is by far the best. The amount of pills you get for the money is wonderful, especially with both myself and my husband taking it daily. It has done an exceptional job of keeping our allergies in check and I highly recommend it to anybody. The other meds I tried were store-versions of zyrtec...[...], several drugstores, W-D....I think I tried[...] version too. THIS one actually works and I will continue to purchase it. When I found this product online I read the reviews and thought that 300 pills for around $30 was too good to be true. It was! I took it for a couple of weeks and then became very sick with complications from seasonal allergies. I tried it again a month later and experienced headaches, congestion, etc. Apparently this particular brand of generic does not work for those with severe allergies. 300 pills for around $30 is a great deal, only if it works. I love that it comes in a 300 pill quantity so I save big time and only have to worry about ordering once a year. After taking it for a few months, I developed horrible allergies when I was in Hawaii. I bought some brand-name Zyrtec there and took it for the next two months. I felt much better. I used to be sick every winter with sinus, allergies, sore throat and bronchitus. Once I started this on a daily basis to control the drainage, I am rarely sick! Best Uses Comments about Perrigo Cetirizine Hydrochloride Tablets, 10mg, 300 ea: This product is definitely not as effective as Zyrtec or some of the drugstore generic cetirizine. I thought all generics were equal--in this case they are not. This one leaves me with itchy eyes and a stuffy nose where other, more expensive generics, really helped to ease my indoor allergy (and pet dander) problems.
