I take it once a day for year round allergies and it works great.I used to use Zyrtec (which worked wonderfully) and find no difference with the generic. I love that it comes in a 300 pill quantity so I save big time and only have to worry about ordering once a year.

Great value for the money if it works for you. It is not as effective as the name brand, but ok for me because I want to wean down from daily usage. The name brand really lasts 24hours., this one does not.

This bottle is about 15 cents per tablet, the name brands are MUCH higher.... and when this is on sale it is the lowest.

This generic doesn't work for me at all. After taking it for a few months, I developed horrible allergies when I was in Hawaii. I bought some brand-name Zyrtec there and took it for the next two months. I felt much better. I'm going back to the brand.

Have been using this antihistamine for about 10 yrs under the brand name. Switching to the generic did not diminish it's effect. I used to be sick every winter with sinus, allergies, sore throat and bronchitus. Once I started this on a daily basis to control the drainage, I am rarely sick!

This product is definitely not as effective as Zyrtec or some of the drugstore generic cetirizine. I thought all generics were equal--in this case they are not. This one leaves me with itchy eyes and a stuffy nose where other, more expensive generics, really helped to ease my indoor allergy (and pet dander) problems.
