How do your prices compare to other pharmacies?
You can save up to 30% if paying out-of-pocket for your prescriptions. Our everyday prices on drugs are much lower than the national average.

How long will it take for my medication(s) to arrive?
Your order will be shipped as soon as we've received and processed your prescription information. New medications generally arrive in 10 to 14 days. Refills will generally be delivered 6-8 days after you place an order.

How much does shipping cost?
Standard shipping on prescription medications is just $2.99. If you'd like to receive your prescriptions faster, expedited shipping methods are available at an additional cost. Refrigerated drugs must be shipped overnight, so additional charges will apply. See our prescription shipping chart for details.

If you are a member of one of our select mail-order prescription drug programs or insurance partnerships, standard shipping is FREE.

Is your pharmacy licensed within my state?
The drugstore.com™ pharmacy is VIPPS-certified by the National Association of Boards of Pharmacies and has partnered with BioScrip Pharmacy Services, Inc. to fulfill your prescription orders. BioScrip is licensed within all 50 states.

How do I know my private information is secure?

Do I need a prescription?
Yes. It's dangerous (and illegal) to obtain a medication without a prescription from your doctor. For your safety, we don't honor prescriptions written by online doctors or doctors that don't consult with their patients in person.

Do you receive or ship medications outside the United States?
We cannot ship prescription orders outside of the United States, unless it's to an APO or FPO address. For your safety, we only accept prescriptions written by doctors licensed within the United States.

Will you accept my insurance?
We accept most insurance plans.

When you use insurance, your co-pay will be determined as we process your prescription. We'll contact your insurance company to validate your coverage and, if there's any problem, we will contact you within 24 – 48 hours by phone.

How much money will an insurance or prescription discount card save me?
Your savings is determined by your benefit provider. Contact your plan administrator or call the toll free number on the back of your card to verify your savings.

What if something happens to my order?
If your prescription order was damaged during shipping, please call us immediately at 1-800-378-4786. To protect the health and safety of our customers, we don't accept returns on prescription items.

Can I use a check to pay for my order?
At this time, you may pay for your order with a credit or debit card. We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Can I buy toothpaste and other over-the-counter (OTC) products with my prescriptions?
Prescription (Rx) and non-prescription (OTC) items must be ordered separately.
