 | Can Xen-Phen help me lose more weight?

| "Xen-Phen" refers to a combination of two different weight loss drugs, orlistat (brand name Xenical) and >phentermine (Ionamin and Adipex-P). Xenical and phentermine act in different ways in the body: Xenical works in the stomach to decrease the absorption of fat from food; phentermine works in the brain to suppress your appetite. Because these medicines work in different ways, some people believe that using them together can lead to even more weight loss.The safety and effectiveness of combining these medicines isn't known. Since the benefits of combining these medicines aren't clear and the risks aren’t known, it's very important that your doctor monitor you closely if you take do them together.
