 | Are there any drug interactions with Penlac?
|
| Penlac (generic name ciclopirox) is a new medication that's prescribed to treat fungal infections of the fingernails and toenails by killing the fungus responsible for these infections. It's a lacquer that you apply directly to the nails.Although there are no studies of drug interactions with Penlac, it's probably unlikely they exist, as very little medication is absorbed from the nail into the body. However, you should talk to your doctor before using Penlac if you are currently taking oral drugs to treat your nail fungus.
