 | Do any other medicines interact with Vaniqa?
|
| Vaniqa (generic name eflornithine hydrochloride) is a prescription cream for women that can reduce the growth of unwanted facial. Vaniqa seems to slow facial hair growth by interfering with the enzyme that promotes hair growth. It is not a depilatory. Continue to use a hair removal method (such as waxing, tweezing, or depilatory cream) until you achieve the desired effects. So far, there are no reported interactions between Vaniqa and other medicines. Because the medicine is so new, the complete range of potential interactions between Vaniqa and other drugs has not yet been fully explored. Sources: Vaniqa product information. Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, 2000. Micromedex Healthcare Series. Micromedex, Inc., 2001.
