Hectorol is a synthetic form of vitamin D used to manage hyperparathyroidism that can occur as a result of serious kidney disease. Hectorol is used in patients receiving long-term kidney dialysis as well as patients who are not on dialysis. Hectorol may be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
