Ramipril is an angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used to treat high blood pressure. Ramipril may also be used in some patients following a heart attack to treat certain heart problems and improve survival. Ramipril may be used in some patients with a history of stroke, diabetes, or certain heart or blood vessel problems to reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, or death. Ramipril may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
