Chemical Name: PEDIATRIC MULTIPLE VITAMINS (PEE-dee-AT-rik/ MUHL-tuh-puhl /VYE-ta-mins) with FLUORIDE (FLURE-ide)

Common uses
This medicine is a vitamin and mineral combination used to treat vitamin deficiency and prevent cavities.

Before using
Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with this medicine. INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. ADDITIONAL MONITORING OF YOUR DOSE OR CONDITION may be needed if you are taking acitretin. DO NOT START OR STOP any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding. SOME BRANDS OF THIS MEDICINE may be used in children younger than 6 months old. Discuss with your doctor the risks and benefits of giving this medicine to your child. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns about using this medicine.

Directions
Follow the directions for taking this medicine provided by your doctor. This medicine may be taken on an empty stomach or with food. THIS MEDICINE MAY BE TAKEN WITH FOOD if it upsets your stomach. This medicine may be given directly into the mouth or mixed with fruit juice, cereal, or other food. Use the dropper that comes with this medicine to measure your dose. Ask your pharmacist for help if you are unsure of how to measure your dose. SHAKE WELL before each use. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) in the original container. Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take 2 doses at once.

Cautions
DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICINE if you have had an allergic reaction to it or if you are allergic to any ingredient in this product. DO NOT EXCEED THE RECOMMENDED DOSE or take this medicine for longer than prescribed without checking with your doctor. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINES, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. DO NOT TAKE large doses or vitamins (megadoses or megavitamin therapy) while taking this medicine unless directed to by your doctor. FOR WOMEN: This medicine is not approved for use in women. IF YOU BECOME PREGNANT WHILE TAKING THIS MEDICINE, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using this medicine while you are pregnant. IT IS UNKNOWN IF THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.

Possible side effects
NO COMMON SIDE EFFECTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED with the proper use of this medicine. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. AN ALLERGIC REACTION to this medicine is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue. This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur. If you have questions about side effects, contact your healthcare provider. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects.
