Chemical Name: VITAMINS (VYE-ta-mins)
This medicine is a vitamin combination used to supplement the diet. This medicine may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.
INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding.
Use this medicine exactly as directed on the package, unless instructed differently by your doctor. THIS MEDICINE MAY BE TAKEN WITH FOOD if it upsets your stomach. If taking a time-release capsule or tablet, SWALLOW WHOLE, do not break, crush, or chew before swallowing. STORE THIS MEDICINE at room temperature in a tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICINE, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do NOT take 2 doses at once.
DO NOT TAKE this medicine if you have had an allergic reaction to it or are allergic to any ingredient in this product. DO NOT TAKE large doses of vitamins (megadoses or megavitamin therapy) unless directed to do so by your doctor. This medicine may interfere with certain lab test results. IF YOU ARE TESTING FOR BLOOD IN YOUR STOOL, this medicine may cause false test results. Check with your doctor if you are taking this medicine when using the test kit. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby. IF YOU HAVE DIABETES, this medicine may cause false test results with some urine glucose tests. Check with your doctor before adjusting the dose of your diabetes medicine or changing your diet.
NO COMMON SIDE EFFECTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED with the proper use of this medicine. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.
