wOOx technology wOOx technology is a revolutionary loudspeaker concept that allows you to hear and feel profoundly deep bass that is richer than any other audio system. Special speaker drivers work in harmony with the wOOx bass radiator, and precise tuning between the main driver and the tweeter ensures smooth transitions from low-mid to high frequencies. Dual suspension and a totally symmetrical sandwich construction deliver low and precise base without noticeable distortion. wOOx produces exceptionally deep and dynamic bass by using the speaker box full volume to truly magnify the impact of the music.
Dynamic Bass Boost (DBB) Dynamic Bass Boost maximizes your music enjoyment by emphasizing the bass content of the music throughout the range of volume settings - from low to high - at the touch of a button! Bottom-end bass frequencies usually get lost when the volume is set at a low level. To counteract this, Dynamic Bass Boost can be switched on to boost bass levels, so you can enjoy consistent sound even when you turn down the volume.

Comments about Philips Fidelio Docking Speaker for iPod & iPhone, Model DS7550/37:
I'm an audioplhile who found no sound system in Maui condo. A techie singled out this item and I bought. I can't believe the room filling, excellent sound.12"Lx4"Hx1.5"D, 2.5 lbs. 2-hr charge; 8 hr. playtime. Slips easily into any luggage. Am buying them for my siblings for next Christmas. I NEED music. It saved my Maui trip, totally filling the LR. I am soooo happy with this product. Buy it, keep the receipt and return it .if needed. Or, my recommendatlion: buy it, eat the receipt, and keep it for travel, power outages, picnics etc. What a great value product. It does not equal my $1000 receiver and $4000 speakers. But it is a good substitute.

Comments about Philips Fidelio Docking Speaker for iPod & iPhone, Model DS7550/37:
The Philips Fidelio speaker dock is exactly what I've been looking for – it works seamlessly with my iPhone, has clear sound quality (for listening to radio talk shows and playing loud music), and comes packaged in an elegant, super easy to use and even easier to transport package.
That sounds super marketer speak, and it is (I'm a clothing marketer), but seriously all the above is true.
My wife and I have gone thru three different docking stations over the past few years; most of which were close to the price of the Fidelio, or more expensive. Of those, the ones that were portable didn't have great sound, and the ones with great sound weren't portable. To be clear, portable means that it's easy to pack on a camping trip, a business trip, or just to bring out to our deck AND that it has the ability to go cordless. The Fidelio has built in rechargeable batteries (included) and is not only super sleek and light (but sturdy), it also comes with a high-quality neoprene carrying case.
We've been listening to talk radio in the morning, music during the day and audiobooks at night and the sound quality is excellent (from Bach to Tool, it's crisp, clear sound). Don't get me wrong though, it's not as powerful as comparable systems five times as expensive. But, we didn't want to spend $500+ dollars on a portable stereo either, so we're very pleased with what we got given the price – definitely more than our money's worth!
