This is the second Philips wake up light I have owned and I hated being without one.

I wake up more refreshed and ready to go.

The only down side is that it takes a bit to learn how to program it but once you figure it out you will be good to great.

Phillips is the best at making these wake up alarm products.

Comments about Philips Light Therapy Wake-up Light, Model HF3520/60, 1 ea:

I had this clock for about a week- it really is a cool concept, I did find it easier to wake up and do so pleasantly with the help of the sunlight simulation. I actually dont really have any criticisms about anything concerning the lamp functions. However I felt it was lacking in certain features to be so pricey (and I even caught it on sale, I couldn't imagine paying more for it). First of all, the speaker in mine was either defective or seriously just weak and cheap- I expected it to have a decent amount of bass and clear audio for the price and the brand, but that thing seriously sounded worse than something I've purchased from the dollar store. I find that *completely* unacceptable, being that Phillips also produces higher end home audio equipment and other quality personal audio products. It was chiefly for this reason I returned this clock. I also feel like it should have had some compatibility with other personal audio devices, such as an audio input or dock to allow you to use something besides the radio, which depending on the location of the clock in your house might not work that well, or the preset alarm tones, 3 of which were just... not good. They were either too weak and quiet to wake up to or weird and synthetic sounding. Ultimately my two main complaints are the price and the lack of quality audio and audio functions. If it were about half the price I would not be nearly as critical. However the light functions are not that pivotal or unique to outweigh the other flaws, so you would be better off getting a really nice sounding ipod compatible alarm clock and a touch lamp for your nightstand.
