I haven't tried them as bubble bath. Another great use for these products is in place of shaving cream to shave my legs and underarms while in the shower. The products last a long time too. About the only saving grace here is that once my shower is over the smell doesn't linger on my skin (but the smell does last for hours in the bathroom). It smelled good in the bottle and made me want to drink a margarita. Lathering it up, I didn't like the scent as well, but the lather was excellent. It was a little lime-y or bitter -- hard to describe exactly. I like the scents that are more soothing like Cinnamon Buns, Egg Nog, Chocolate, Coconut Marshmallow, etc. This scent is way too strong in the shower. After using just bar soap and a washcloth all his life, my husband asked me to get him some "fancy" body wash and a bath pouf. After much deliberation over which philosophy scents might be too fruity or too sweet, I ended up getting Senorita Margarita and he loves it! He also appreciates the ease of being able to use it as shampoo as well. I prefer a more feminine scent for me, but it is great for him and the bathroom smells great after he uses it. It is a really jazzy awakening scent and is an excellent unisex choice. My fave is still cinnamon buns, but this was a great change for summer. My friend came to visit and this was her time to try a philosophy product, and now she's hooked! I don't think it smells sour at all; it's a crisp clean scent and I loved the way it made my whole shower smell. Great as a shower gel and for shaving. I had thought that the lime scent would be nice for summer, but it is quite sour; the whole bathroom smelled sour. It didn't remind me of margaritas, since those don't have soap in them.
