This shower gel cleans well, rinses well, doesn't leave an oily or gummy residue in my tub, soothes my dry sensitive skin, is great for bedtime use. It is true, I do smell the green tea in this product. I happen to like it. On an odd note, if you choose to use this product in the morning, a nice compliment to it is the Green Tea perfume from Yves Rocher. Unexpected!

I purchased this product because I had been hearing so much about Philosophy, and had been desperately seeking my signature fragrance. I believed what it said about being clean smelling and long lasting, so, despite its priciness, I decided to give it a shot. If this was the scent I was looking for, I didn't care about the price. I think it is highly overrated. Other products on the market smell just as clean, clean just as well, and are less expensive. Though it smells very good, and lasts most of the day, the price of the Philosophy products are what get me. Maybe someone else may not have a problem with the cost, and may enjoy this product. Although I may not purchase it again, I would recommend it to someone who price doesn't make a difference to.

I haven't used this as a shampoo. I use it as a body wash. I wouldn't buy it again, only because there is nothing unique about the scent. Smells like nice smelling soap, which I could have found in any drugstore aisle.
