Been using Hope in a Tube for over a year and love it. Probably would not have tried this except for the free sample I got through Philosophy. This is a great product. I noticed the difference almost immediately. I found it most beneficial under the eyes for fine lines and puffiness. I don't know if it is meant to be as a stand alone moisturizer, I found it works best when applied after Hope in a Tube (all over eye), then use this under the eye. A little goes a very long way, so although it seems very pricey, one bottle lasts 4-6 months. [...]

I had been brainwashed by magazines to seek out high-priced eye moisturizers that would work wonders on tired eyes. After the first use (within 10 min.) I noticed a 'pulled up' feeling of my undereyes, so I guess that part was effective, but for the rest of the day I felt irritation beneath my skin. Just a 'hurting' sensation. I checked the ingredients and blamed it on the presence of parabens, I am very 'green' about skin care since my entire system is pretty reactive. Still not sure what the problem is; I've used it several times in what I considered "I look awful!' emergencies, but concealer can solve that just as easily, and I would rather watch my diet and keep up with exercise so I don't look 'bad' in the mirror:)

Comments about philosophy eye hope, .5 oz:

I had initially tried Philosphy's other eye cream that came in a gift set but before reordering I compared the two products and went with this Eye Hope. I am very pleased I did. This one contains a retinol but has not irritated my eye area or caused problems with sun exposure. Only way to make it better is to add SPF.

Comments about philosophy eye hope, .5 oz:

I have only used 2 products that are actually effective w/ very dark circles. The other was better but 2xs the cost and almost 1/2 the amount. It took 3 wks to notice a big improvement (60% decrease in darkness)I use 2xs/day religiously. If I miss 1-2 days it takes a wk or two to get back to the same results and my eyes get dark right away. It does sting my eyes so I would love to find something that wouldn't. It also improves wrinkles but I got the best result adding a night eye cream.

This is the first thing that has EVER worked for me!

It's only been a week, but I do like that it is not greasy, so it doesn't interfere with makeup application. Many products cause more puffiness, but that's not the case with eye hope. Someone told me I looked well rested yesterday. Considering the fact that I have a bad cold, and never look well rested, maybe it is working. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Comments about philosophy eye hope, .5 oz:

Used twice daily, I had hoped for a reduction in puffiness along with moisturizing to reduce the appearance of fine lines around my eyes. The moisturizing effect is good, but there was no reduction in puffiness at all. I have used less-expensive products that were better in that respect, so I'm unlikely to buy Eye Hope again.
