I had initially tried Philosphy's other eye cream that came in a gift set but before reordering I compared the two products and went with this Eye Hope. I am very pleased I did. This one contains a retinol but has not irritated my eye area or caused problems with sun exposure. Only way to make it better is to add SPF.

I have only used 2 products that are actually effective w/ very dark circles. The other was better but 2xs the cost and almost 1/2 the amount. It took 3 wks to notice a big improvement (60% decrease in darkness)I use 2xs/day religiously. If I miss 1-2 days it takes a wk or two to get back to the same results and my eyes get dark right away. It does sting my eyes so I would love to find something that wouldn't. It also improves wrinkles but I got the best result adding a night eye cream.

I usually love Philosophy products but this product makes my eyes puffy, red, and irrated when I wake up in the morning.
Definetly not the look I was going for!

I have only been using this for a week and I already see the results. I am only 32, but I have dark circles and creases and am always told how tired I look.
This is the first thing that has EVER worked for me!

It's only been a week, but I do like that it is not greasy, so it doesn't interfere with makeup application. Many products cause more puffiness, but that's not the case with eye hope. Someone told me I looked well rested yesterday. Considering the fact that I have a bad cold, and never look well rested, maybe it is working. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Used twice daily, I had hoped for a reduction in puffiness along with moisturizing to reduce the appearance of fine lines around my eyes. The moisturizing effect is good, but there was no reduction in puffiness at all. I have used less-expensive products that were better in that respect, so I'm unlikely to buy Eye Hope again.
