I have super sensitive eyes and this has never bothered them. I am on my third bottle now (and I'm kind of a product junkie who rarely repurchases, because there's so much left out there untried!), so that says something. It doesn't remove every stitch of mascara as the other reviewer said, but I always wash my face with purity made simple (ok, one other product that I repurchase. Go Philosophy) right afterwards anyway and that takes care of the rest. My eyes never burn=amazing.

As a recent philosopy brand customer, I was excited to try other (non-perfume) products. This eye makeup remover is FAR TOO expensive not to remove every drop of eye makeup. I don't even wear water proof mascasra. Also, another BIG draw back is that the entire bottle top must be removed to saturate a cotton pad. Be sure not to spill the contents. This would be a VERY messy & expensive clean up.
