Ok, so admittedly the price of this product is a little of putting. I have always heard that philosophy has the best products so I tried it. It may take a while to work but, the rule in any skin care reginime is to give it 6 months to work! I fell in love with this product because not only did it work it made my skin soft with every use and made my pore virually non existant. I think the only down side is the results do take a while and the price is a little much. But, when you do get results your skin is amazing! :)

I was very excited to try out this ptoduct, however I was disappointed. I am 24 yrs with acne on my jaw line and around my chin, this really didn't do anything for my acne I used ittwice a day. I felt that the condition of my non acne skin improved. But after 4 weeks, I never once had a clear day. The spot treatment was very slow and ineffective. I am now trying something else. The box states that 92 percent saw clearer skin in 4 weeks. Not me I had new ance and my old ance never cleared.

I really like the Philosophy On a Clear Day Acne Kit. I just turned 40 and found that I was still experiencing menstrual-related cystic acne. Since I've been using the kit, even if I get a pimple, it goes away quickly. My favorite product is the Retinol Clarifying Lotion. It really soothes my face and controls oil.

My only complaint is that if I use the cleanser, clarifying lotion and the all-over acne medication daily, it is a little drying. I found that I need to use the 3 products together every other day.

I first bought this on [@] and it was smaller sizes i think. Anyway i used those up in prob 1 and half months or 2. It really made a diff in my face. The biggest thing i noticed was making my pores smaller. I dont think it even advertises this but nothing i have found has made my pores so small so fast. I think if for sure evens your face out and prevents breakouts. when i ran out i could completely tell i was not using it by the way my face was. i am soooo glad i found it on here so i can put it on my flex card 8) wish i would have done it earlier. the face wash is great lasts forever and it very gentle and not drying like most soaps. the only downside would be it does dry out my face a bit so alot of times i use it every other day and use a moisturizer 8) love love love this!!! i also got a free philosophy gift set on here by ordering through medco.com what a deal. The other downside is it is [*] expenisive!!! its worth it

I will be the first to say that everyone's skin is different and you never really know if a product will work for you unless you try it out. I am not a big fan of this box set. [$] for a small facial wash and 3 small tubes of skin gel, acne med and retinol cream? I have used Glymed for years, however, with taking a radical paycut, I have been forced to find other products. I only purchased this because it was FSA eligible and I had $3,000.00 to burn before the end of the year. I won't make that mistake again. I washed my face and it never really felt clean. It still felt like there was make-up, residue, dirt & oil. In fact, I washed with another wash after because my face felt so slimey. I used the retinol cream and I liked it at first but then after a few days my face started to get increasingly greasier as the hours went on in the day. By 2 pm I feel like I need to wash my face again, it's completely disgusting...and that's without make-up, I do not wear make-up to work.The acne med and skin gel didn't seem to do anything to the tiny pimples that I have developed since using this product.I would say that if you are a product junkie and only buying this because of the Philosophy name, you will be disappointed. Invest your money in Glymed, it REALLY works...

Finally, an acne product that is not just for greasy teenagers !! I have been dealing with acne for over 35 years. I am just over 50 and have normal to dry skin with some of the worse acne that I have ever had. When i was younger it was the usual black head, white head, little red bumps on forehead, nose, and chin. As I got older I developed much more serious cystic acne. I did the proactiv for about 11 years, but now that I am older that caused my skin to become prune like from the very drying effects of the product. I also got tired of bleaching all of my towels, pillow cases and husband shirts. The benzoyl peroxide is very drying and bleaching. I also used several natural products that contained tea tree oil and Salicylic acid . Nothing worked. If finally went to a dermatologist and she recomended a retinol with a really good moisturizer. I stuck with the moisturizer but the prescription she gave me for my acne did nothing but redden my face. I really was skeptical if this product would work or not, but the fact that it was eligible for my HEALTH FLEX SPENDING is what made me take the leap and give it a try. I love the results. I have not had any new acne since I started, the old stuff is clearing up slowly, but it is clearing. My skin looks new and refreshed. It is back to normal moisture ( I still use the moisturizer recommened by my dermatologist ) I use every product in the kit, every day and night. The only thing I do different then the directions call for, is I use the sulfur spot treatment right after cleansing, before I use the all over product. I found that the spot treatment just balled up and did not absorb over the other stuff. So now I cleanse, use the spot treatment, let that absorb for 5 - 10 minutes, use the all over blemish treatment, followed by the retinol, and then my moisturizer/sunscreen. I use the spot treatment on my existing blemishes and also where I usually break out, chin and the outer cheek area. It has been over a month now and I am only about half way through all of the products. It is very cost effective.

in addition to the 4 products, you'd need a moisturizer for the eyes area => too many steps.

I'm a little disappointed in this product. I was really wanting it to work for me like it did for others. I feel that for the price, I should have received better results. I get acne on my on cheeks and chin, it didn't clear the existing acne, but I also haven't had any new breakouts, so I guess that is a plus. Also, even though it hasn't overdryed my skin, my face has started to look ashy. My acne leaves red marks on the skin after it has cleared, so despite the negatives of this product, the fact that I haven't had new breakout is good. In my case prevention really is the key. I will give it until the bottles are empty before I officially make up my mind. If you can afford it, it is worth a shot. Nothing else I have used (and I have used it all) has worked any better.
