I'm in my early 40's with adult acne, and have had trouble finding anything that'll tackle the acne without drying the heck out of my skin. I'm allergic to benzoyl peroxide, and I've found over the years that salicylic acid works the best for me. Most OTC acne preparations have 2% salicylic acid - this has, I believe 5% (tube is upstairs, my kid is asleep) - the most I've seen OTC. I use it morning and night, and it's been either preventing breakouts altogether, or zapping the zits before they get big. It even took down a big one on my chin that had been lingering for weeks. I've been using this for about a month and am definitely going to buy another tube when this runs out!

I use this at the onset of a zit coming on, and after a day or two, it's generally gone. I don't apply anything over it- no moisturizer or foundation. It's my saving grace!

this product is not as effective as the review. I tried so many days and I still got new breakouts till now. It takes many days to heal one spot yet there are more new ones come out. Not a clear day for me.... And don't mention that expensive pricing it gots. Do not work for me.

Here's the deal, i'm a woman in her mid 30's with very sensitive skin who has struggled with mild to severe cysctic acne since I was a teen (about 20 years now). I've literally tried it all. You should try this product because 1) does not irritate 2) gets rid of blackheads (even when I was able to clear the acne I had persistant blackheads before) 3)it hydrates without causing more problems 4) does not bleach your clothes/sheets. The first week I used it I did have an increase in acne but with twice daily use along with basis face wash and sea breeze sensitive skin toner and dotting benzoyl perozide 10% (clean and clear brand )on the blemish itself, my skin looks and feels great. I really wish i'd found this a long time ago.
