Best Uses Comments about philosophy on a clear day oil-free moisturizer, 1.8 oz: in a nutshell this moisturizer does not moisturize enough..my skin was still dry after layering it on twice..i had to follow up with a skin oil. also, the smell isnt that great. not impressed so i returned it. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 11/25/2010 (2 of 2 customers found this review helpful) fantastic Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about philosophy on a clear day oil-free moisturizer, 1.8 oz: I've tried a lot of moisturizers over the years for my breakout-prone skin. This moisturizer is by far the best I've used. It's soothing, spreads easy, and it doesn't feel greasy at any point. Even after 10-12 hours my skin still feels fine, which was previously very uncommon. It may smell odd at first, but the smell is not unpleasant and goes away within a few minutes. It may be a little more pricey than some other products, but in my opinion it's worth every penny. Best Uses Comments about philosophy on a clear day oil-free moisturizer, 1.8 oz: I am a philosophy fan all the way but this stuff was horrible! I just wanted a simple oil free moisturizer but this was far from it. It is a thick creamy lotion that feel like a face primer ..much like the new l'oreal one in the jar, it smells like fish oil and it dried up my skin really bad and to top it off my makeup didnt apply well so i had to re wash my face and start completely over. Took it back to the store right away. So disappointed . Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Cons Best Uses Comments about philosophy on a clear day oil-free moisturizer, 1.8 oz: I was looking for something that will give my skin the moisture it needs with out creating acne. So I went with a trusted brand and found this product. I still break out, not sure if it's due to the moisturizer or other outside elements but it nourishes my skin and doesn't create a layer of oil on my skin. I have a very oily t-zone in fact and this actually some what minimizes it instead of exacerbating it like other brands. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (0 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about philosophy on a clear day oil-free moisturizer, 1.8 oz: I have minor sensitive skin, but I seldom buy products that are designed for sensitive skin 'cos they aren't always worked as it said. There're more breakouts on forehead recently, so I thought this moisturizer may be able to help controlling the blemish. I never try Philosophy before. The only reason I bought this moisturizer is because it is "oil-free." However, after a couple days, the breakouts seem getting more serious, and my skin is not absorbing the lotion... Comments about philosophy on a clear day oil-free moisturizer, 1.8 oz: I purchased this product for my daughter who has congested skin which breaks out from sensitivity to many things and many products. It has soothed and cleared her skin within the space of a month and we are very pleased with its effectiveness.
