This does smell a lot like Ivory or Irish Spring soap, good bad or indifferent. To me, smelling like Ivory/Irish Spring soap or the overused "clean" scent is not appealing. If you think about it, why would you spend [$] dollars to smell like .99 cent soap. If you prefer lotion that mimics the "clean" scents of nature then this perfumed lotion is not for you. Once I started using the lotion, I noticed that my naturally dry skin, that I was winning the battle against, had become taut, scaly and began flaking. Definitely can say this is not a moisturizing lotion for normally dry skin. Also, not quite sure how any body product is described as "greasy" since no "grease" goes into the product. While the lotion is reasonably priced, the purchase was definitely a waste of money. Like most philosophy bath and body products, this is heavy on harsh chemicals and light on quality ingredients with less than satisfactory results. I am not a perfume fan, but like a lotion with a subtle scent. Pure grace does this nicely. I haven't tried any of the other products and this is my first time using the lotion so don't know how it performs in cold and dry winter. It doesn't last all day, but what does? The nice clean scent lasts most of the day. And best of all I got 2 bottles during a great sale! Pros

It does not feel sticky at all. It has a mild scent that is just right for me - because I can't tolerate strong scents. There is one drawback - the scent does not last very long. Pros

There are many days when I just wear this..no other perfume... and get compliments, but I am confident that the fragrance doesn't announce my presence from across the room, and I like that. It moisturizes well enough as long as my skin isn't extra dry. Pros

I had to call and have it reshipped. The representative at Drug Store.com was very helpful and friendly, but it took almost three weeks to receive the products. Pros

Best Uses Comments about philosophy pure grace body lotion, 16 fl oz: I absolutely love this fragrance and have been very pleased with other Philosophy products I've purchased in the past. Unfortunately, the fragrance does not last as long as other perfumed lotions I've purchased. Service and delivery comments: Drugstore.com offered a "free" 16 oz Philosophy lotion with a $60 purchase. This free offer had a LOT to do with my decision to order the two products that I ordered. While my order was in process I was sent an email notice that the "free" part of my order had been "canceled". If I had purchased these items locally, then a suitable replacement would have been offered. I felt you should have offered some product or discount to offset canceling your free offer. Not a great way to conduct business, especially with a new customer. When I emailed them about the problem their reply was simply that things like this happen.

Comments about philosophy pure grace body lotion, 16 fl oz: I tend to be a frugal person (I clip coupons, use sugar as an exfoliant) and do not like spending more than necessary. However, this product is well worth the price for not only does it provide long-lasting moisture, it smells simply sublime. I have a very keen sense of smell, and only like scents that are really clean and crisp. This product is just that. It's not overpowering at all, and just smells, for lack of a better word, optimistic. I consistently receive compliments from both men and women of varying ages when I wear this. The all-over body spray is great as well.
