I have been using this product for almost two years now. It is great at removing makeup and leaves my face feeling clean and smooth. It is not greasy and does not leave a residue. I have never had problems with breakouts due to using this product. It is one of the few items that I constantly return to using.

Simply the best. This cleanser is gentle and leaves my skin feeling really nice. It doesn't even hurt if it gets in my eyes. My skin is pretty oily, and this does a good job of cleansing without stripping. The fragrance is also incredibly pleasant. I hope Philosophy never changes this product.

Great facial cleanser. I use daily with great results. My skin does not feel like it is too tight. Instead it is soft and not irritated. I also use it to shave my underarms which also remain non irritated.

Nice product. I usually don't wear makeup, so I can't really give a review on the aspect. I do wear it occasionally, but it's few and far between. This also isn't the best wash if you're on a tight budget. I got a free sample of it last year and I use it on and off occasionally. The smell is nice and light, it's a bit thick. Doesn't lather all that well. But it works nice for cleaning your skin and making it feel fresh. Probably won't purchase it myself though. The few times I did wear makeup, I do remember it doing fairly decent at taking it off. It didn't sting my eyes or anything taking eye makeup off. A little goes a long way, which is nice if you're not spending more than a few bucks on a product.

I have been using Purity by philosophy since I found it nearly three years ago. I am an eighteen year old girl who does not suffer from acne prone skin but due to the fact of being a teenager, once in a while gets a pimple or two. I use this product everyday in the shower and it always does the trick. My skin is a little bit oily inbetween my eyebrows and along my hair line and this product does wonders in keeping them dry. I also am a little dry on the cheeks, under the nose, and chin, and this product does not heavily dry out those already dry areas. After using this product in the shower I use my favorite everyday face moisturizer, oil-free moisture for sensitive skin by Neutrogina. this combination is amazing! this cream does not make my face oily at all and keeps the entire face at a good mix of smooth. If you wear alot of eye makeup i would recommend some kind of makeup wipe as ive found if i put on alot some gets left behind. all the face makeup comes off though.

I used this every night to wash my face and I do like the cleanser. However, Philosophy seems to imply that this product is "pure" however it contains parabens, which I try to stay away from. So I am unsure if I will continue to buy it. It is a little expensive too.
