I purchased this product on a whim.. I was on a trip, it was cheap and I was out of face wash. I could not believe how great this wash worked with my oily and acne prone skin. I wear heavy foundation daily; both liquid foundation and mineral powder foundation with concealer. My pores do not get properly cleansed of all makeup product because I am too lazy to purchase and use multiple skincare products before going to bed.

I wanted just ONE thing I could use at night and in the morning to get all the gunk off. This is IT. My skin changed pretty dramatically. My pores were smaller, my acne was GONE, my skin looked polished and young. I still am not sure if it was just a lucky month for me or if this product actually worked.

I only used the product for one month and I have NOT been able to find it at any drugstores since I purchased it. It is hard to find in my case. Delighted to see it is available here!

After spending literally hundreds of dollars on high-end brand name facial cleansers, my esthetician recommended phisoderm. I tried it and was sold. It doesn't strip your face, yet it leaves skin feeling clean, not greasy when done. I love that it foams and has a mild, pleasant smell. I use it with my clarisonic facebrush every day. I have mature, combination skin that gets oily in the t-zone & I live in a hot & sticky climate. I use moisterizers & serums & usually don't skimp when it comes to my skin, but this is working great & it saves money. I highly recommend.

I was reaaaaally skeptical about even trying this after getting it in the mail and realizing that it's got a scent. My skin tends to be on the sensitive side so I thought I was going to end up with red blotches or something nasty-looking all over my face. But to my surprise, it works pretty well! It is definitely, in my opinion at least, a very nice smell and this stuff seems to help wake me up more/better (I have to wake up at 4:30am to get ready and leave for work). My skin feels like it's completely rejuvenated... at least until it starts to dry my face out in a few key spots (generally around both sides of my nose, and around my forehead and eyebrows). It doesn't seem to do all too much for my acne either; I mean it does good, but I think it miiiiight be some other things that are making it back-track.

I did start working in a peanut factory since I started using this product and the salty air may be what's causing my face to dry out more. That just might also be contributing to the acne sticking around along with that I seem to touch my face a little more often while I'm in the factory due to cardboard/peanut debris flying up to my face. I alsooo do need a new facial scrubber - I've been using the same one for about a year now and I know I really need a replacement.

I think I'm going to try the other version of this product for Normal-Dry skin and see if that helps. This product is perfectly fine with the Garnier Fructis Moisure Rescue, but if I can eliminate having to pay for a moisturizer then that would be fabulous - more money for more important things like gas for my car!

My daughter, who will be 20 this year, has been using this product since high school. She had a bad case of acne when she was younger and it has worked very well for her. This product has been around a long time and is hard to find at local drugstores. We always order Phisoderm from drugstore.com because they offer this pproduct at a great price. I order at least three at a time, it is so affordable. Phisoderm and a normal topical acne cream keeps my daughter's pretty face nice and clear :)

Phisoderm Anti-Blemish Facial Wash works just fine. It didn't exactly prevent new pimples from forming, but it does help a little. The two main reasons why I wouldn't purchase this again is that it smells somewhat like men's cologne. Not strong, but I don't like it. Also, it doesn't lather as well as I would like my soaps to. It has a clear gel texture, that's sort of milky. After using this, my face doesn't feel super clean right after. I like that it didn't cause bad reactions to my skin, but it is a bit disappointing.

I thought that since this is a Phisoderm product, it would probably work well for menopausal acne; plus, I like products that come in a pump dispenser! However, I am very disappointed with the performance of this face wash. It seemed to help for about the first week or two of using it, and then- wham- my face broke out worse than it has been in a long time; I look as if I am 16-years-old again (acne-wise)! Also, I was surprised by, and do not care for, the runny consistency of this product; especially because it is described as a gel, so I thought that it would have been a little thicker. After pumping it into your hand, it's difficult to get it applied to your face fast enough to avoid having it run down your arm! I'll use it up, since I don't like to waste, but I won't be purchasing it again in the future!

I so wanted to like this product after I read all the great reviews and great price, but unfortunately it did not work well for my skin type. After using this face wash for a day, I was impressed at how nice my skin felt and blemishes appeared to be clearing up. However after two more days, my skin started to break out even worse. My skin was very itchy, felt like sandpaper to touch, and had broken out in white heads and small pimples all over. I thought maybe since I have been using a different product for so long that my skin was just adjusting to something new, but it just continued to get worse after a few more days. The white heads cleared up quickly after switching back to Proactiv. I may try this product again, but at this time I would not recommend it to anyone with sensitive or scne prone skin!

I was pleasantly surprised to see this wasn't irritating and is effective all by itself in controlling my acne (and with other products, even more effective). I checked: It has the same active ingredient (2% salicylic acid) that Clinique's acne cleaner has, but of course this is much more affordable.

I have one area of my face that is peppered constantly with adult acne but am able to use this on my whole face (which can be oily everywhere, especially in the summer). It is a tad drying, but that's effective on the acne part and is easily fixed with a moisturizer or serum on the rest of the face.

I couldn't be more pleased with this product, especially at the price.
