I've had a horrible range of acne that has thankfully lessened from large jaw-lining knobs to scatters of manageable pimples and blackheads. I would like to think, given my years of experience and seemingly endless product trial and error, that I have a valuable opinion when it comes to dealing with the largest organ of the body and it's finicky ways. As I mentioned, I have gradually maturing skin, that has had a hard road with acne. People say you grow out of it. That is an outright lie. Unless you no longer have oil production, allergies, dead skin cells, and stop the hormonal shifts in the body, you are going to have acne. You have to learn how to manage it. First, if you have sensitive skin you need to abolish the use of all scrubs. Often they will just make your acne or blemishes worse. Then you need to find a simple quality wash that you use twice a day. I had fallen into the trap of using multiple products daily in hopes to deal with my multiple skin issues: acne, dry patches, oily patches, sensitivity, sunscreen, etc...I finally got fed up, started from scratch, and did a little research. Don't bother betting a wash with an acne medication in it. It'll just dry you out and isn't on the skin long enough to absorb subcutaneously. Wash, treat, moisturize, and let it be. Seems the less products I use the better off I've been. I found this face wash and brand very affordable, gentle, and effective. It balances out my combination zones; dry parts are not drier, oily doesn't get oilier. I end up with a dewy, healthy complexion. And my light post inflammatory hyper pigmentation (acne scarring), has lightened up dramatically. Hydrated skin heals better than dry skin. This product doesn't leave me feeling tight and dry. I still require a gentle make up remover separate from this if and when I wear any eye make up, but this product does cleanse thoroughly. Works well with other facial products. I'm very satisfied and can see using this down the line as my skin "matures" further. VS Most Liked Negative Review Not for oily skin This is probably best for DRY, sensitive skin. I have oily, sensitive skin and this didn't clean my face at all. The product smelled nice, but that's about all I could say that's positive about the product. After I used this product, I had to use something else to clean my skin - this version of Phisoderm cleanser was totally ineffective for me. Comments about Phisoderm Cream Cleanser for Sensitive Skin, Gentle Cleanser, 6 fl oz: I first started using this product when I was 14 or 15 to curtail my teenage acne. I am 62 in 2012. Back then it was named Phisohex and it was a one and only formulation, no fragrance, no soap, just creamy soothing product. At some point it must have changed manufacturers because it was renamed Phisoderm and came in normal and sensitive skin, but still no fragrance. Now I noticed 3 or 4 product lines, and one I have purchased has fragrance. From time to time I can't find an outlet to buy it, like now. Between those times when I am searching for a place to buy it again, I have tried other products and they all have a greasy feel or don't work. My skin is always happy when I find another supplier and get back to Phisoderm. It has no greasy feel at all! Pros

Best Uses Comments about Phisoderm Cream Cleanser for Sensitive Skin, Gentle Cleanser, 6 fl oz: I was searching for a new soap-free cleanser and remembered that I used Phisoderm when I was a teen and young adult. I never had acne but always had very sensitive skin. Now I am 53 years old and still have sensitive skin that is in good shape from years of taking good care of it ( and good genes). Phisoderm works fine, takes off most of my make-up ( slight mascara residue) but I didn't like the texture, the smell or the way my skin felt afterward. It wasn't overly drying I just didn't like the feeling. My memories of the light, foaming cleanser I used in my late teens and early twenties no longer exist. Pros
