This is a fantastic product that does it all! It's weightless and provides light but definitely there coverage as a mineral foundation, but it also has a subtle brightening effect, and it even seems to provide some sun protection (though it doesn't claim to). I use moisturizer where needed and then put this on with a big fluffy brush. I look way better than bare skin but it looks and feels like I'm not wearing foundation. When I switched from my old make-up routine (liquid foundation as spot concealer for mild-moderate acne and then powder mineral foundation for overall even-ness and oil control) tons of people noticed and complimented. After about 2-3 weeks my acne decreased and now any breakouts clear up faster, I think mostly because I am putting less stuff on my face, but whatever the reason, this product made it possible! (I've tried other products like this, but always felt they didn't cover/improve my skin enough, so I couldn't make it through the transition to less coverage.)
This is an all-around winner in my book: it's pressed so it doesn't make a mess; it has a very minimal ingredient list (no parabens, etc.); I spend way less time getting ready now (no need for concealer or bronzer or anything like that); I feel like I'm wearing nothing and I still look great at the end of the day!
May be worn alone or over makeup. Lightly brush on powder over face and neck to add a skin tone and add a brightening glow. For the most even application, be sure to tap excess powder from brush before applying.
For best results on dry to very dry skin, apply moisturizer prior to using powder.
