The smell is a joy and delight. (Although it doesn't last very long.) The color is really pretty, too, but it's hard to get it right. Even though I use a good-quality brush to apply it, I feel like I often end up with either too much color or not enough. The color when applied is similar to the brightest shade in the compact, not the more neutral ones. I have a very natural makeup style, and it's slightly (only slightly) too bright for me.
Using a soft powder brush, sweep over entire palette to evenly blend colors. Tap excess powder from brush before applying. Brush over cheeks to define and contour or apply right below cheekbones for a more defined and dramatic look.
