This product does a good job at that, plus it evens out my skin tone just like it promises. The powder absorbs well and doesn't settle in those pesky lines around my lips and eyes. It doesn't really have serious coverage like a foundation, but I don't want that look, so I find it works very well for me. I accidentally bought the beige (colors were very hard to tell apart in the local drugstore - poor labeling). There are only 3 colors - transparent, beige, bronze - so I thought I might be OK. However, the beige on my fair skin looks bronze. So my face looks either a) dirty or b) weirdly tanned. Fair warning to pale girls. Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Face Powder SPF 16, Beige, .03 oz: I have never worn been a daily makeup wearer (no time) until my beautician told me about this product. I have to be at work at 5 am, so I don't have much time. This goes on in about a minute, and I add a couple of strokes of mascara, some lip gloss and I'm out the door! Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Face Powder SPF 16, Beige, .03 oz: I've had two facial skin cancer surgeries of a serious nature and needed real protection from UV rays, but was hesitant to start using "makeup." Physicians Formula foundation with Mineral Powder really changed my life, protecting me while allowing me to look spectacular, without being unnaturally "made up" with cosmetics. I use PF powder foundation SPF 50 in beige or translucent beige (I have both) as a base, and even in beige these foundations are very light colored on my medium skin, so to warm up my color I simply brush on this PF SPF 16 Mineral Wear Powder and voila! I look healthy, sunkissed, smooth and natural. This Mineral Powder is lighter than the PF Mineral Wear Bronzer powder but does not look pale and gives just enough warmth to make my face look like a china doll with a bit of natural beige highlight. With my own cosmetic brush, it goes on like a breeze and covers well--smooth, full coverage without caking up. It's light and lovely. Yes, the Mineral Wear does make a bit of a mess when you swirl the brush in the powder, as it immediately goes to powder, but that's what makes it so easy to apply. Just be careful not to hold the compact over your clothes, and be careful also when brushing it on to not let powder sprinkle on your shirt and you'll be fine. I workout daily with this makeup on--hiking mountains, yoga, running--and this product stands up even to sweat. I finally feel protected and pretty again after those nasty surgeries. Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Face Powder SPF 16, Beige, .03 oz: Should have listened to fellow reviewers and hold-off on purchasing this item. It does look orangy on skin - I have very light skin. It does do an ok job as a powder over make-up in controlling shine. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 8/18/2011 Dark for fair skin Pros

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Face Powder SPF 16, Beige, .03 oz: This is the first mineral make-up that hasn't made me break out. Coverage is more substantial than other mineral make-ups I've tried. I have worn it as a powder over foundation, but most of the time I just wear this and moisturizer. I really, really like it. The brush that came with the compact is useless; I use an elf total face brush instead. It lasts a long time, looks very natural, and really evens out my blotchy skin.

Comments about Physicians Formula Mineral Wear Face Powder SPF 16, Beige, .03 oz: It completely evens out my skin which has had some scarring from acne. Im 29 and I get adult acne on the sides of my face. This evens out redness and feels amazing when applying with my own makeup brush. Doesnt feel cakey or look cakey which I love.
