I've used bare minerals for years, but when I ran out on vacation I bought this at a drug store and to my surprise it worked better with less product and evened out my very uneven skin tone. I love it. And it is about half the price of bare minerals too, even better!

The translucent version leaves much more to be desired. I have a light skin tone but my face is prone to redness. Even the translucent is too light for my face. If I cake it on there, then it seems to cover better but I don't want to look artificial. I use this under the physician's formula mineral wear face powder, polishing powder and bronzer. I use my own brush and this is easy to apply and being mineral powder based, it can get messy at times. Otherwise it is lightweight and does not cause my face to itch or break out. I have sensitive skin and I can comfortably wear this make-up line.

I might try creamy natural next. If that doesn't work then I'll go back to Clinique.

I use this on my T-Zone, especially my forehead, to control shine. It lasts most of the day, with just a touch-up in the evening if I am going out. It looks natural, and is the best powder I've found for this purpose.

Though I am normally a "Budget Buyer", this product will be one of the few for which I become a "Brand Buyer". I have red hair, freckles and pale, oily skin that is prone to acne. I seldom wear makeup and am not interested in spending a lot of time doing do. With a quick swish over my whole face, I'm suddenly more even and polished looking without causing my face to break-out.

I have extremely sensitive skin that breaks out from most makeup. This powder did not aggravate my skin or cause acne. It works well for absorbing shine and covering up redness. I have very fair skin with redness around my nose and chin, and this covers it up without adding layers of color. It does not look cakey or too powdery. Sometimes I use it as a base for mineral makeup and it helps the color blend more evenly. I would recommend to anyone with very light skin who wants to control shine and even tone without caking on colored makeup.
