For the last 15 years or so, I managed to keep it in shape by using a nettle shampoo that I had to buy from abroad. That's because the other nettle shampoos on the market don't help me. Not to mention about the regular shampoos that everybody's using. Anyway, I purchased this product and I was very impressed by what it did to my hair. I could actually wash it once at 4 days, which is a lot, considering..However, after a couple of washes I noticed my hair started to fall, way more than usual. I thought it would be just a phase, as we all experience hair loss at certain times (due to stress, diet etc.). I was still very excited by the product, and I gave it to my mom to try it out too, since she has the same type of hair. She only used it one time and she stopped it, because of the same issue. I kept using the product for about a month, hoping that it can't be that bad, but unfortunately, my hair started to fall out so badly that I had to stop. I went back to my usual nettle shampoo and now I only miss a couple of hairs after wash, which is pretty normal. Anyway, my point is, try it out, but pay attention to hair loss and if your hair falls more than usual after the wash (when you comb it, style it etc.), stop it asap. Don't wait as long as I did, because it's only gonna get worse. Reviewed by 11 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » 1/27/2012 This is a great shampoo for clarifying. Pros

Comments about PHYTO Phytocedrat Sebo-regulating Shampoo, Oily Scalp, 6.7 fl oz: I use this shampoo once a week to get rid of any excess oil build up. I lost my hair due to chemotherapy and want to use the best hair care now that I have the chance to start over. I have an asymmetrical inverted bob that is above my collar but past my ears. I use a cap full of this shampoo only because it is such a thin consistency and cannot control how much comes out in my hand. The only thing I would change is the packaging to avoid over usage. I can see myself purchasing this again.

This is the first one I ran into that contains it. If you don't know what this chemical is about, read about it at Wikipedia. Don't let that touch your skin.

Comments about PHYTO Phytocedrat Sebo-regulating Shampoo, Oily Scalp, 6.7 fl oz: This is by far the best shampoo I've used to get my oily hair clean! It is watery and I do pour it into the cap and then pour it on my head otherwise you lose product. I don't seem to notice that it reduces oil production by the next time I shower but I do notice a difference longer than any other shampoo I've tried. My hair stays fresher for longer and as long as I shampoo every day it will stay that way. I wish it was cheaper but I've paid the same for other shampoos that don't work that well. I've bought it twice now which is a lot more than I can say for 100 other oily hair shampoos I've tried. If you can get past the watery texture of the shampoo you'll have really clean hair!

Comments about PHYTO Phytocedrat Sebo-regulating Shampoo, Oily Scalp, 6.7 fl oz: So, I moved to Southern California recently and had a HORRIBLE transition with skin and hair - the water here really did me in and I had breakouts and my hair felt AWFUL - it suddenly became greasy and felt dirty all the time. I switched my shampoo about five times before finding this product and I love it! It is pricey, but my bottle has lasted three months so far. My hair feels clean and soft when I use it, and I love the very subtle, fresh lemon scent (it is not strong, just smells fresh). One thing to warn new users about - this shampoo is a complete liquid, not much thicker than water. You have to be careful when you pour it out, because I could see half the bottle going down the drain. But it lathers really well and rinses clean. Total hair turnaround!

Comments about PHYTO Phytocedrat Sebo-regulating Shampoo, Oily Scalp, 6.7 fl oz: This is the first scalp-health shampoo I've found that doesn't smell horrible- it has a light scent, not overwhelming like others. One thing I noticed right away is that it's very liquid. If you pour it into your hand, it disappears before it reaches your head! I found that if you pour it into the cap, then dribble it onto your head, it works just fine.
